About Me

Hi, I’m Haru(Ruri).
I am an Early Childhood Educator based in Halifax, with experience supporting young children’s learning and development in educational settings.

I specialize in working with beginners and understand how to guide children step by step in a way that feels safe, positive, and enjoyable.

My lessons focus not only on learning piano skills, but also on building confidence and a love for music. I believe that when children feel successful and supported, they are naturally motivated to keep learning.

As both an educator and a parent, I value a gentle and encouraging approach, and I aim to create a calm and welcoming environment for every child.

I am originally from Japan and bring a thoughtful and attentive approach to each lesson.

I would be happy to support your child’s first steps in learning piano.
